I'm thankful for good health and for the
incredible blue skies and sunshine we have
today.
Thought I'd update you on what's new
with me. During 2012 so far and more to come, additional
videos recorded during webinars for IPBC added to my
Store.
New, an online live meeting monthly,
called a "Boot-Camp" for anyone who wants to learn more
about tax. That's in addition to my monthly CGA's only
tax club meetings that have been going now for a few
years.
I keep getting positive emails from
teachers about my student workbook for young adults (and
not so young) to learn about how tax works, using
TurboTax Online for free anonymously, available for free
under My Projects. If you know any high school teachers,
either business ed, or math, or skills...please tell
them about this resource.
If you haven't checked

I'm still working
on my book, about how to organize your paperwork
personally or for someone else (as in, are you the
Executor or Power of Attorney?) and the current title is
How to walk in someone else's shoes. The fillable forms
are very useful and sell in my store. There's no way you
can make up a Word fillable form like this for $3.95. I
know, I paid someone who knows Word really well a few
hundred bucks to set this up. So if your time is
valuable, this is a great tool.
Do you need
how to's for creation of procedure manuals? Not only do
I have such a video, but there's also one on how to
create working papers in OneNote that the bookkeepers
loved so much they wanted to buy the sample OneNote file
I created.
Oh yes, the boot-camp this month?
is about the new Family Caregiver Amount and it's on
next Wednesday, October 16 for an hour at 11:30 am.
Pacific Time. If you know someone who has dependents
with an infirmity or don't know what an infirmity would
be, this is for you or them.
Are you mobile
at that time of day? GoToMeeting has a new mobile APP
for your iPhone, iPAD or Android, so it isn't necessary
to be at your desktop to attend an online meeting!
You could be in traffic so you may want to
just listen, not speak while driving. Just sayin...stay
safe.
