Summer 2011
July 29, 2025
Just had a minute to reflect and thought it's been
ages since I did a newsletter to my
subscribers. Here's what's new.
Last
fall, the local Delta BC librarians asked me to do a
talk on financial literacy for women. An e-book titled
How to walk in someone else's shoes...without wallowing
in their shoe box, complete with 24 fillable forms
resulted from this presentation. You'll find a story
that's a preface and the e-books for sale in the
TaxDetective Store @

Then over the
winter, IPBC asked me to create a series of training
videos on how to master QuickBooks software. We did that
with a small audience of 20 participants. The ten videos
now sell on my website and a portion of the proceeds are
for IPBC. I'm really proud of what these videos portray
about how to keep records properly so that year end
working papers become possible.
Just last week,
a few bookkeepers asked me if I'd do a workshop on how
they could master the business of being in the
bookkeeping business and how to make some money at it. I
recorded the workshop, and it's packaged with a
spreadsheet that includes 2 worksheets on how to plan
your work to fit in with your life and how to plan for
how many clients you'll need in order to make a living
and still have a life. This 45 minute video has a lot of
practical and thought provoking stuff in it. If you're
struggling with how to set up your small business and
still have a life, this may be for you.
Again,
you'll find all of these in my TaxDetective Store.

Products are
delivered automatically using e-junkie.com, so I'm off
to float some rivers for a few weeks to contemplate what
to create next... so come back to visit my website again
in the fall for more products.
Enjoy your
summer whereever you are, and stay
cool.
