GST / HST on financial services: the ground shifts

Effective today, the policy on what constitutes a financial service, which is considered exempt from GST/HST has shifted.

This news bulletin announces that financial services do not include investment management, nor do they include credit card or loan charges, previously considered to be financial services that were exempt.
