Age credit increases by $1,000 for 2006

Today's announcements:

Age credit increases by $1,000 retroactive to January 1,
2006, equates to about a $210 refund for those seniors with
enough income to be paying tax. It's funny how the
government always seems to be able to introduce measures
that affect the lowest common denominator.
