Ever wonder how they decide who has the right to collect the CCTB?
Here's a recent court case where the Tax Court has had to determine exactly what does it mean to be a parent. Not only were these parents coping the best they could financially and emotionally, CRA raked them over the coals for their claims of a 50/50 split of responsibility for two children.
